Planning an Ideal Store Space

This project is for a specialty store of imported unique paint materials—Kalm Home Design. The "word Kalm" is Dutch and synonymous with the English word"Calm",reflecting the brand's goal of helping customers create a relaxing, high-quality home space.In a retail environment showcasing specialized paint materials, one of the design challenges is ensuring that the diverse paint materials maintain their true colors under different lighting conditions. This is not just a display store; it's also a laboratory for color and texture. Every corner of the space has been carefully planned to emphasize the uniqueness of the products.

Using Lighting to Showcase Spatial Layers

The interior designer selected lighting fixtures from the DANCELiGHT series and meticulously planned the lighting to match each fixture’s characteristics. This ensured that the paint colors remained true, while also showcasing the texture of the unique patterns. From the flexible arrangement of magnetic track lights to the warm light of aluminum channel lights and indoor soft strip lights, each lighting element added a professional touch and a unique atmosphere to the space.

The magnetic series is characterized by recessed installation, hiding the track within the ceiling or walls, creating the effect of "seeing the light without seeing the fixture." The magnetic function allows for easy installation and the use of various accessories, making it convenient to move and adjust the lighting angle. This creates a variety of lighting combinations and subtly enhances the layers of the space. In this case, the L-shaped configuration runs through the wall and ceiling, becoming an eye-catching visual focal point.Combination of Aluminum Channel Lights and Low-Voltage Indoor LED Soft Strip Lights: The LED soft strip lights are designed for the product display wall. With a flexible body, they can perfectly fit into recessed areas. The "continuous lighting" design ensures that soft, even light spreads across every shelf, while the high color rendering index (CRI) accurately showcases the texture and color of the paint materials, adding a sense of fashion to the overall space.
